A candy-coloured fever dream
I’m interested in the places that humans gather in the pursuit of pleasure. I love the gaudy cartoonish-ness of it. The highly processed foods and sugar laden treats. The lights, the rides, the smells. How it’s all driven to activate our pleasure centres. How it sometimes seems like both the best and worst of human nature. The drive to connect, have fun and make memories. How this is marketed by industries hell bent on profit, who’re happy to have us poison ourselves for a monetary value.
