Blume unfolds within a dark, overgrown world where recurring characters become entangled amongst roots, vines and organic forms. Inspired by the atmosphere of old graveyards and neglected landscapes, the work draws on places where stories linger long after their origins have been forgotten.

At its centre, a winged figure emerges from a dense network of growth and accumulation, surrounded by characters that appear both protected and consumed by their environment. The scene balances vitality with stillness, creating a space that feels simultaneously alive and suspended in time.

Reflecting on personal growth and the experiences that shape us, Blume considers the traces that settle beneath the surface over time. Rather than resisting these influences, the work suggests a process of living alongside them, allowing memory, experience and change to become part of the landscape itself.

Inspired by the overgrown stillness of historic graveyards, Blume unfolds within a dark, tangled landscape.
